Map Your Property
In accordance with Ontario Regulation 41/24, KCCA regulates areas where development may have an impact upon the control of flooding, erosion or dynamic beaches, and where interference with wetlands and alterations to shorelines and watercourses may adversely affect those features. Development activities within the regulated area will require a permit from KCCA.
KCCA’s webmap is here to help you identify whether your property is affected by Ontario Regulation 41/24. It is important to note that in some cases your property may cross the boundary of two Conservation Authorities. In this case you should contact both conservation authorities to determine if your property is within a regulated area.
If the webmap has indicated that your property is within a regulated area by KCCA, you should contact KCCA staff to determine if a permit will be required. Conservation Authority permits are in addition to any building permits or other approvals you may need by your municipality.
KCCA’s permit application package can be found on our website here.
Steps to determine if your property is located within a regulated area:
- Open KCCA’s webmap
