Tree Planting

Kettle Creek watershed’s current forest cover is approximately 15%.  Environment Canada recommends 25% forest cover to achieve a healthy watershed.  To achieve this goal, KCCA is committed to planting a minimum of 50,000 trees per year.

If you’re thinking of planting trees, the KCCA stewardship team can assist you in a variety of ways including species selection, site plant development and providing information on available funding opportunities.
