Lake Whittaker Conservation Area features a 26 acre spring fed lake with access to all your favourite summer activities and is open from May 1 to September 30. On your visit you can experience scenic hiking trails, a beach area for swimming, camping and much more!

Hiking Trail

Lake Whittaker Trail

A 6.1 kilometre natural surface hiking trail loops around the lake providing a spectacular view of provincially significant wetlands, plantation, sugar bush and mixed deciduous forest.

Facilities and Activities

Did you know, you can book your Lake Whittaker Day-Use pass online? Enter your personal information and a receipt will be sent to your email. You can present your receipt at the gatehouse or if the gatehouse is closed proceed to enter the campground.

These rules, regulations and standards were developed to maintain a level of safety and consistency at both Lake Whittaker and Dalewood Conservation Areas and are based on KCCA’s R.R.O. 1990, Regulation 111.

This is the current 2023 fees for KCCA’s campgrounds and day use facilities.

Pool Hours

Opening Canada Day long weekend! Pool operation, hours and capacity will be dependent on staffing availability.
