I don’t have a reservation. Can I book a site?
You may have arrived at our gate house to find it closed. If you are looking to camp and do not have a reservation please review the list of camp sites below.
These sites are available for bookings as of September 18 to 24, but may be subject to change. Please proceed to one of these sites and set up camp. A staff member will be by once the gatehouse opens to issue you a permit and collect your fee.

I have a reservation. Can I proceed to my site?
Yes. If you have reservation and the gatehouse is closed upon arrival, please proceed to your site. Gate staff will be by once the gatehouse is open to issue your permit. Or you can try calling Park Security 519-281-8029.
How to Get Ice and Firewood
If the gatehouse is closed and you would like to purchase firewood or ice please try the following:
- Call Park Security 519-281-8029 and an on-duty staff member will deliver the firewood or ice directly to your site. Cash payment is preferred.
- Call the Gatehouse and leave a message. Staff will attend your site after the gatehouse opens.
- Flag an on-duty staff member during their rounds and they will bring firewood or ice directly to your site. Cash payment is preferred.
- Wait for the gatehouse to open. See updated hours below.

Did you know, you can book your Dalewood Day-Use pass online? Enter your personal information and a receipt will be sent to your email. Present your receipt at the gatehouse or if the gatehouse is closed proceed to enter the campground.
These rules, regulations and standards were developed to maintain a level of safety and consistency at both Lake Whittaker and Dalewood Conservation Areas and are based on KCCA’s R.R.O. 1990, Regulation 111.
