Who do I speak to about obtaining a permit to build?
If your property is located in a regulated area, or you believe it is, contact Kettle Creek Conservation Authority’s Director of Operations for information on the permit and approval process prior to any development or site alteration.
It is a good idea to call ahead and make an appointment. Staff will let you know what information you will require to complete the application and permit process.

Who do I speak to about ordering trees?
Kettle Creek Conservation Authority is planting 40,000 trees per year. Landowners within the Kettle Creek Watershed can purchase seedling for 25 cents each, provided a minimum order of 200 seedlings is made.

I would like to make a reservation to camp.
Kettle Creek Conservation Authority owns and operates two campgrounds, Lake Whittaker Conservation Area (Harrietsville) and Dalewood Conservation Area (St. Thomas). Both campgrounds are open from May 1 – September 30th each year. Bookings can be made on-line beginning March 1, telephone reservations are accepted after May 1 by calling the gatehouse directly. Dalewood: (519) 631-1009 or Lake Whittaker: (519) 269-3592. You can also make a reservation, cancellation or change online. Inquiries about seasonal camping can be made during the off season by calling the Administration Centre (519) 631-1270.
Do you have boat rentals? What is the cost?
Canoe and paddle boat rentals are available at Lake Whittaker Conservation Area. Permits are only issued to persons 19 years of age or older (i.e. children must be accompanied by an adult.) In addition to the fees listed below a $75 refundable deposit is required.

A public boat ramp is also available. Only electric motors are permitted. All boats, including canoes must be registered at the gatehouse. Unregistered boats may be confiscated. No boats are allowed in swimming areas.
