Seedling Program

It’s never too early to plan for Spring. Contact staff to discuss your tree planting project.

Order Form

Seedlings are available to landowners within the Kettle Creek watershed for $0.25/seedling.  There is a minimum order of 200 seedlings and orders over 750 seedlings also include planting by KCCA staff and one application of herbicide.

Ideal sites may include:

  • Retirement of marginal pastures or cropland
  • Windbreaks and shelterbelts
  • Riparian buffers

Landowners looking to reforest more than 2.5 acres of land may be eligible to receive funding to offset planting costs through Trees Ontario’s 50 Million Tree Program.

Interested landowners should contact KCCA staff to find out more about the various tree planting programs Place your order early for Spring as stock is limited and assigned on a first come, first served basis. Tree Planting Program Overview
