What, When & Where?
The Children’s Water Festival is an interactive learning experience where students in grades 2, 3, 4 and 5 can discover the importance of water in their lives and communities. There will be 40 hands-on activity stations linked to the Ontario Curriculum. These activity stations are grouped around five themes: water conservation, attitude, technology, protection and science. The 2017 Water Festival is May 16 – 19, 9:30 am – 1:30 pm each day. The event is outdoors, RAIN or SHINE, at Pinafore Park (St. Thomas). May 17 is french day! There will be French interpreters at many of the activity stations that day.
Register your Class!
Registration is first come, first served. There are no restrictions to the number of students from each school, but there is a maximum capacity of 800 students per day at the Festival.
Split 1/2 and 5/6 classes are welcome at the teacher’s discretion. Registration deadline: Monday, March 31st.
$8 per student, which includes busing. Teachers and parent supervisors are FREE.
If the Festival is cancelled due to severe weather, refunds will be issued, but a $1/student administration fee will be retained.
If a teacher chooses to cancel after May 1, no refunds will be issued.
Payment deadline: Thursday, May 1.

Teacher Orientation Sessions
Teachers who have not been to one of our previous Water Festivals must attend a 45 minute Teacher Orientation Session.
